Listing guidelines

TradeSanAngelo is for real local businesses trading real services. Every listing is reviewed before it goes live, and we may edit or remove any listing.

Good listings

• Come from an actual business or self-employed person.
• Describe a service or product you can deliver, honestly and in plain words.
• Say clearly what you'd take in return.
• Use one listing per trade. Post a new one if you have a different offer.

Listings we turn down

• Anything illegal, or that needs a license you don't have.
• Adult content, weapons, alcohol, tobacco, vaping or drug products.
• Recruiting, multi-level marketing or "business opportunities".
• Cash-only sales ads, loans or investment offers.
• Spam, duplicates, or listings with contact details stuffed into the text.
• Anything hateful, harassing or misleading.

When you message someone

• Be specific about the trade you have in mind.
• No sales pitches unrelated to the listing.
• If someone says no, move on.
